There is/there is not in Aramaic.

 Shlama!
Today I got for you two very common phrases in Syriac-there is /there is not.

it
there is

layt
there is not

Some examples

It b-bayta attta.
There is a woman in the house.

it-there is
b-in
bayta-house
attta-woman

Layt lakhma.
There is no food.

layt-there is not

These verbs are also used instead of the verb 'to have' which does not exist in Syriac.
