The Titulus Crusis is a piece of the wooden sign(title panel or titulus) that was supposedly put on Jesus's cross when he was crucified. On the sign it is inscribed the phrase-' Jesus Nazarene , king of the Jews' in three languages Latin,Greek and Aramaic. The phrase reads in the three languages as follows: • (a). IESVSNAZARENVSREXIVDÆORVM • (b). ΟΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣΤΩΝΙΟΥΔΑΙΩΝΟΥΤΟΣ • (c). זה הוא ישוע מלך היהודים The sign is nowadays kept at a church in Rome and it claimed that this is the original sign hang on the actual cross of Jesus. This is rejected by scholars as a forgery of medieval times.
